Booking & pricing
How do I get a quote?
Fill out the quote form or email info@bobbyjonsound.com with your date, venue, and a few details about the event. We usually reply within one business day.
How much does it cost?
Our DJ and powered-speaker packages are priced per day: from $500 (XDJ All-in-One), $650 (Turntablist), and $700 (CDJ-3000 DJ + Mixer + Sound). Void Acoustics systems, including our on-site engineers, are quoted per event, based on our day rate and your event timing.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you have a date and venue. Weekends, especially in spring and fall, fill up early, and we can only hold a system once it’s booked.
Can I rent individual pieces instead of a package?
Yes. Most items on our Rentals page can be rented on their own. Tell us what you need and we’ll put together a quote.
Void Acoustics systems
What’s included with a Void system?
Delivery, setup and tuning for your space, on-site sound engineering for the whole event, and strike when it’s over. You don’t lift a thing.
Do you provide sound engineers?
Yes. Every Void system comes with at least two of our sound engineers on site, and we add more when the event requires it, such as multiple stages or long schedules.
Can Void systems be used outdoors?
Absolutely. We’ve run Void systems on desert festival stages, under oak trees, on city streets, and in backyards. We plan placement and coverage for your space, indoors or out.
What if the venue doesn’t have power?
We bring our own. Our Predator 9500 and 3500 inverter generators can power a full system at off-grid locations.
DJ & powered-speaker rentals
How do pickup rentals work?
Our DJ and powered-speaker packages are customer pickup and drop-off, and self-operated unless arranged otherwise. Everything is tested and ready to plug in and play.
Can I get delivery or a tech for a pickup package?
Just ask when you request a quote and we’ll let you know what we can arrange for your date.
What DJ gear do you have?
Pioneer CDJ-3000s, DJM-900NXS and DJM-S5 mixers, the XDJ-RX2 all-in-one, Pioneer PLX-1000 and Reloop RP-7000 MK2 turntables, plus headphones, microphones, and stands.

What areas do you serve?
We’re based in Los Angeles and work across Southern California, from the coast to the desert. If your event is farther out, ask us anyway.
